The late Barabara Blackburn could type as fast as 212 wpm in a "sprint" and could type 150 wpm for 50 minutes! That was on a typewriter not a computer keyboard. American Sean Wrona holds a jaw dropping record of 256 wpm in a "sprint" and 174 wmp for 50 minutes on a computer keyboard!
